WCHS Mural Project

The Project

The Wayne County Humane Society is partnering with local artist, Cassy Sinchok, for a creative fundraiser! Cassy is creating murals in the shelter in the hallways between our adoption rooms. YOU get to choose the animals who will be featured in these murals! Contribute a $300 tax deductible donation to this fundraiser, and your animal will be featured on the mural! Multiple animals will be $250 each. We only have so much wall space so SPOTS ARE LIMITED! Don’t wait to secure your animal’s spot on the wall! The painting will take place over a period of several months. There will be an opportunity to see the walls in progress when visiting the shelter and we will have a celebration when it is complete. The Murals

The dog mural will consist of a 12x16 ‘headshot’ painting. Your dog’s name will be written in script.

The cat mural will consist of a scene painting and ‘full body’ cat paintings will be included. The name of your cat will be included on a collar. Note: No collar is needed in the original cat photo - it will be added on in the painting.

The Photos

Photos should be submitted via the form below. Photos should be sufficiently high quality with the animal in focus and face visible. For dogs, photos that are just above the neck, including ears is fine. For cats, a full body photo (or majority of body present) is preferred.

Fill out this form for one or two animals. If you would like to purchase more than 2 animals, fill out the form multiple times. You will be directed to pay via Square upon submission of your form. $300 per animal. $250 per animal if you buy 2 or more.
