The Wayne County Humane Society is committed to helping homeless pets find their fur-ever home. If you are interested in adopting one of our amazing pets, please complete the adoption application below. An approved adoption application is required to adopt a pet. Adoption applications are reviewed in the order they are received and are valid for 3 months. Once an application is approved, a pet can only be held for 24 hours. Please be sure to bring a carrier along with you at time of adoption. If you don't have a carrier, a cardboard carrier can be purchased for $5.00

DOGS

PUPPY (8 months and under): $300

SELECT PUPPIES (8 months and under) $500

SMALL DOGS (< 30 lbs.): $250

SELECT DOGS: $250

ADULT (9 months to 7 years & > 30 lbs.): $150

SENIOR (8+ years < 30 lbs.): $150

SENIOR (8+ years > 30 lbs.) $75

DA2PP Vaccination
Bordetella Vaccination
De-Wormer
Flea Medication
Microchip
If age permits: Rabies Vaccination and Heartworm Test

CATS

KITTEN (8 weeks to 10 months): $100

ADULT (11 months to 9 years): $75

SENIOR (10+ years): $50

The adoption fee for cats includes:

FVRCP Vaccination
De-Wormer
Flea Medication
If age permits: Rabies Vaccination
FeLV, FIV and Heartworm testing available upon adopters request for a fee of $25
