This is Abrielle. We adopted her from the Humane Society when she was 8 weeks old. She is now 14 years old. She enjoys her daily cup of milk, cat treats twice a day and Lays Original Potato Chips. She likes to sleep on or beside us. She is a real cuddle bug.

Annie is a one-year old Golden Retriever who had four different homes before she came to us. She loves to smile, wiggle, and play! She also loves to dig in the dirt, buy toys, and steal socks. Around here, you never know when you're going to get an Annie attack - ie - a little Golden Retriever wiggling all over you giving you 100 kisses!

Barley is an 8 yr old goldendoodle. He’s a “smiler” always greeting you showing his pearly whites. A great companion whether going for a walk in the park or snuggling on the couch!

This is Bebbles ButterBean Ladrach. She was born on May 17th 2026. Her mom, Lola was surrendered to the rescue organization Badass Bully Rescue because her owners couldn’t afford the c-section for Bebs and her brother Bam Bam. Bebbles mom is a French Bulldog and her dad a mix of American and English Bulldog. Her foster name was Pebbles but my brother and I have only ever had dogs with B names so here we are with Bebbles. Bebs has never met a stranger, adult, kid, animal or otherwise. She is a total goof, who loves to go on an adventure or be a lazy house hippo. Although she had many adoption applications, she ultimately chose me and has made everything in life that much better. Thanks for considering ♥️

This is Big Boy! I got him in 2023 from WCHS! He is the best cat ever!!!! Loves belly rubs and watching out the window. He loves to cuddle only on his terms though lol

This is Boots. He came to us as a stray. :)

🐾 Meet Bronco! ❤️ Meet Bronco, a handsome standard poodle with a big heart and an even bigger love for his mom! At 6 or 7 years old, Bronco has already had quite a journey. Rescued from the Holmes County Humane Society, he found his forever home and the life he deserves, filled with love, adventures, and plenty of treats. Bronco loves going for truck rides, heading out for a long run on the farm and enjoying his favorite snacks. But as much as he loves his adventures, nothing compares to being with his mom. Wherever she is, that's where Bronco wants to be! With his curly coat, sweet face, and loyal personality, Bronco has a special way of making every day brighter. He may have started out as a rescue, but these days, he's living his best life—and there's no doubt that he rescued a heart or two along the way. His favorite things: Truck rides, runs, treats, and his mom. ❤️ His greatest accomplishment: Being the very best boy and making sure his mom never feels unloved. His motto: Life is better with four paws, an open road, a pocket full of treats, and my mom by my side! 🐩💕

Buddy Guy – The Little Devil with a Heart of Gold! ❤️🐾 Meet Buddy Guy, a lovable Portuguese Water Dog named after the legendary blues musician! With his soulful eyes, signature black-and-white beard, and larger-than-life personality, Buddy Guy knows how to steal the spotlight. He's a professional toy destroyer, enthusiastic treat critic (crunchy only, please!), and full-time charmer. Equal parts mischievous and affectionate, Buddy Guy keeps everyone laughing and life anything but boring. And while those devil horns might suggest trouble, don't be fooled—underneath that cheeky exterior is one very sweet boy who's always ready to steal your heart! Thank you Wayne County Humane Society for bringing him into our lives.

Caster and Camber are two white German shepherd sisters. They are the sweetest, most loyal dogs. We love them so much.

🐾 Meet Charlie: A Little Dog with a Whole Lot of Heart 🐾❤️ Eleven years ago, over Christmas Break, Charlie found his way into our hearts. At 8 years old, he had come from a local hoarding case and had been at WCHS since that May. Once his court case closed he could finally be placed up for adoption. We had recently lost our beloved 9-year-old pup to cancer, and while we could never replace the love we lost, we had room in our hearts for another little soul who needed a home. That Christmas, we found Charlie. ❤️ Today, Charlie is living the spoiled life he always deserved! Scrambled eggs most mornings, bone broth softened food (he's now lost most of his teeth!), and as many snuggles with Mom (his favorite human) as he can possibly get. 🥚🐶 These days, Charlie can barely see or hear, but don't let that fool you — this little guy still has some pep in his step and a whole lot of love to give. He reminds us that life isn't about how well you see or hear the world around you, but how much love you feel in it. At an age when some might have overlooked him, Charlie still had so much life left to live, so many cuddles to give, and so much joy to bring. Eleven years later, he's still showing us that a little dog with a big heart can leave the biggest paw prints on your soul. 🐾💕 Senior dogs aren't leftovers. They're love stories still being written. And Charlie's is one of our very favorites. ❤️

I adopted Millie from the Wayne County Humane Society in January 2020. She is now around 14 years old, and is the very best dog! She is mellow and easy-going. She loves spending her days napping, going on short walks, and spending time in the backyard. Millie is also semi-famous on Instagram, having her own account!
