The Rascal Unit is a mobile veterinary service based in Dublin, Ohio. There are multiple Rascal Units, each one travelling throughout the state, bringing affordable pet surgeries and wellness services to the public.

****HOW TO REGISTER****

How to Register:

For the March Rascal Unit, sign ups will be in person. Payment is due to register your space. Starting with the June visit, registration will be online.

Call, email (volunteers@wchs.org), or visit the shelter to check on availability. At our location, wellness services such as vaccines are available only in addition to a spay or neuter surgery.

Fill out the registration form in person and pay. Full payment is due when you register. Cash, check, Visa or MasterCard are accepted.

NOTE 1: WCHS charges a $6 administration fee for each animal registered.

NOTE 2: Refunds will NOT be issued within two weeks of surgery day. Please consider this when registering a feral cat.

What to expect:

Upon registration, each pet will be assigned a registration number. You will receive instructions for surgery day. Read and follow these carefully.

Dogs must be brought on a leash on surgery day. We will provide a cage.

Each cat you bring must be in its own hard plastic carrier. Each carrier must be labeled per the instructions.

Drop-off times will be assigned when you register or later. All drop-off times will be in the morning; pick-up times will be in the late morning or afternoon the same day. We cannot give you an exact pick-up time. You will receive a call when your pet is ready for pick-up. Do not call to ask if your pet is ready for pick-up.
