WCHS hosts and sponsors various events and fundraisers throughout the year, including these annual recurring events:
Bike Night: “Save a Dog, Ride a Hog” on July 21, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Get your motor running and head on out to The Olde Jaol for this July event! The annual "Save a Dog, Ride a Hog" Bike Night fundraiser is a perfect way to spend a summer evening under the stars to help WCHS. Bike Night is made possible through the generosity of Jerry Baker, owner of The Olde Jaol (located at 215 N. Walnut Street in Wooster), and the many people and businesses that donate auction items.
Bike Night begins on July 21st at 6 p.m. with live music by Hey Monea. Browse and bid our silent auction, buy an arm's length of 50/50 raffle tickets, and pick up an event t-shirt! Our live auction begins at 8 p.m. A beer garden is set up in The Olde Jaol's parking lot, with outdoor barbecue food and beer sales all night until the event's end at 10 p.m. All monies raised benefit the Wayne County Humane Society!
Regardless of whether you ride a bike, own a Hog or even a dog, Bike Night is something that you won't want to miss! It is a fun night for all with good music, tasty food and great auction items, all for a good cause!
