Wayne County Humane Society Open House and “Home for the Holidays” Foster Drive
Join the staff, volunteers and animals of the Wayne County Humane Society for a fun filled open house and foster drive! Our open house will be during our business hours on Friday, December 16th and Saturday, December 17th. We will have plenty of festive activities for you and your furry family members, including pictures with Santa, raffle items, craft table for the children, refreshments and a bake sale.
While enjoying your time at our facility, please help us kick off our 1st annual “Home for the Holidays” program by filling out a foster application for your favorite shelter pet. Our goal of the “Home for the Holidays” program is for every animal in our shelter to spend the holidays in a loving home. Fostering of an adoptable dog or cat would be from December 23rd through the 28th.
Please help make a shelter pet’s dream of a “Home for the Holidays” come true! We can’t do this without YOU!

For a short update on some of the awesome pets available for adoption, also tune in during the News at Noon on Fridays on WQKT-104.5 FM or in the morning news on WKVX-960 AM around 7:10 a.m.
