RASCAL Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic

Thu, 10/26/2017 - 8:00am - 5:00pm

The RASCAL Unit will be at the Wayne County Humane Society on Thursday, October 26, 2017 for a low cost spay/neuter clinic.

The Rascal Unit is a mobile veterinary hospital based in Dublin, Ohio. They travel throughout the state with the help of local humane organizations, pounds, and shelters to bring affordable pet spaying and neutering to the public.

Registration begins at the Wayne County Humane Society on Tuesday September 19, 2017 during business hours. Space is limited and once the registration is full we cannot accept any more pets. Cash payment is due upon registration (see price list here:  http://www.wchs.org/sites/default/files/Rascal_Unit_Pricing.pdf). To expedite the registration process, please complete and sign the applicable surgery form below in advance:

Cat Surgery Form http://www.wchs.org/sites/default/files/Cat_Surgery_Form_May_2015.pdf

Dog Surgery Form http://www.wchs.org/sites/default/files/Dog_Surgery_Form_May_2015.pdf

Upon registration, each pet will be assigned a number. Each cat needs to be in its own carrier with a label stating the owner's name, the pet's name and the assigned number (this can be on a piece of masking or duct tape with permanent marker). We will provide pop up kennels for dogs to use for the surgery day; however, dogs do need to come on a leash.

Pets will have an assigned time to be dropped off at the Wayne County Humane Society, this is done the week prior to the event. Typically pets are dropped off in the morning and then picked up later that same day.
